Waterfall Whispers

(Verse 1)

We loaded up that old Jeep, just as dawn was breakin’

Coffee in our cups, our sleepy town awakin’

Maps spread on the dash, your hand slid into mine

We chased the winding roads, left our cares behind

(Chorus)

Through the whisperin’ pines, where the wild winds call

Headin’ to where the mountain hides a waterfall

Every mile with you feels like a sweet dream unfurled

My love, we’ve got the best seat in the world

(Verse 2)

Sunlight danced through leaves, a shimmerin’ parade

Your laughter filled the air, every worry start to fade

We found that hidden path, where the moss gently lay

And walked where nature sings, in its unbridled ballet

(Chorus)

Through the whisperin’ pines, where the wild winds call

Headin’ to where the mountain hides a waterfall

Every mile with you feels like a sweet dream unfurled

My love, we’ve got the best seat in the world

(Bridge)

By the waterfall’s edge, the world seemed to pause

In the mist of the spray, I caught my breath because

In your eyes, I saw every dream I ever knew

Right there, by the falls, I fell deeper in love with you

(Verse 3)

We talked beneath the roar, secrets soft and tender

Promises made in splash, hearts open and surrender

As the water fell, so did all my fears

In that mountain’s heart, we left them with our tears

(Chorus)

Through the whisperin’ pines, where the wild winds call

Headin’ to where the mountain hides a waterfall

Every mile with you feels like a sweet dream unfurled

My love, we’ve got the best seat in the world

(Outro)

Now every time I close my eyes, I’m back to that scene

You, the waterfall, and the forest serene

Oh, life’s a journey, not where you end up or start

And I’ll travel every road with you, heart to heart
