She changed all the locks

(Verse 1)
I came home from work one day, feeling tired and beat
Only to find the locks all changed, my heart skipped a beat
The house I thought was ours, now a fortress cold and bare
The woman I loved, now seems like she doesn’t care

(Chorus)
She changed all the locks, left me out in the cold
Crushing my spirit, breaking the mold
The vows we made, now shattered and torn
Left me wondering why I was ever born

(Verse 2)
I thought we had forever, promised to never part
But now I’m standing here, with a broken heart
She’s keeping me from the kids, the life I held so dear
I never thought I’d see the day, when love would disappear

(Chorus)
She changed all the locks, left me out in the cold
Crushing my spirit, breaking the mold
The vows we made, now shattered and torn
Left me wondering why I was ever born

(Bridge)
I’ll pick up the pieces, try to move on
But the pain and the hurt, it lingers on
I’ll always wonder, what went wrong
How did our love turn into this sad song?

(Chorus)
She changed all the locks, left me out in the cold
Crushing my spirit, breaking the mold
The vows we made, now shattered and torn
Left me wondering why I was ever born

(Outro)
Now I’m on my own, trying to find my way
In a world that’s turned so cold and gray
But I’ll keep on going, through the tears and the strife
And hold onto hope for a better life.
