Veterans day poem

In fields where courage met the dawn,
They stood with hearts both brave and drawn.
Through trials vast, on land and sea,
They fought to keep our nation free.

With steadfast eyes and steady hand,
They ventured forth to foreign land.
In sacrifice, they bore the cost,
For every gain, for every loss.

Their stories whispered through the years,
A tapestry of hopes and fears.
We honor them with grateful hearts,
For in their valor, freedom starts.

On this day of solemn grace,
We see their strength in every face.
To veterans, we owe our peace,
In their service, our thanks increase.

Let us remember, let us say,
Their legacy will light the way.
In gratitude, our voices raise,
To those who’ve served, our endless praise.
