Riding the Golden Dragon

(Verse 1)
Well, I hopped on a dragon, his scales all aglow,
With a heart full of wonder, I was ready to go.
Through the clouds and the starlight, we soared up high,
Chasing memories of loved ones, beneath the endless sky.

(Chorus)
Riding the golden dragon, through the ages we roam,
From the laughter of my childhood to the love I call home.
Every twist and turn, every tear and smile,
Riding the golden dragon, I’ll stay for a while.

(Verse 2)
First stop was my mama, in her garden so bright,
Picking daisies and dreaming in the soft morning light.
I saw her young and hopeful, with a future so wide,
And I whispered a thank you, for the love she supplied.

(Chorus)
Riding the golden dragon, through the ages we roam,
From the laughter of my childhood to the love I call home.
Every twist and turn, every tear and smile,
Riding the golden dragon, I’ll stay for a while.

(Bridge)
Next, we flew to the night of my first high school dance,
With my heart in my throat, I took a leap of chance.
Saw the way she smiled, wearing that blue dress,
In that moment I knew, I was truly blessed.

(Verse 3)
Then off to the day when my baby was born,
With her tiny little fingers, a new world was sworn.
I felt all the love that filled that old room,
As we danced through the years, like flowers in bloom.

(Chorus)
Riding the golden dragon, through the ages we roam,
From the laughter of my childhood to the love I call home.
Every twist and turn, every tear and smile,
Riding the golden dragon, I’ll stay for a while.

(Outro)
So here’s to the moments, both bitter and sweet,
With a golden dragon’s wings, my heart skips a beat.
Through the tapestry of time, I’ll cherish and sing,
For the love of my people, oh, what joy they bring.

(Final Chorus)
Riding the golden dragon, through the ages we roam,
From the laughter of my childhood to the love I call home.
Every twist and turn, every tear and smile,
Riding the golden dragon, I’ll stay for a while.
