Whispers of Yesterday

Title: “Whispers of Yesterday”

(Verse 1)
Well, the sun ain’t shinin’ like it used to,
And the road feels a little more worn,
But every wrinkle tells a story,
Of the love and the laughter we’ve borne.
We danced through the fields, hand in hand,
With dreams like wild horses, we’d ride,
Now we sit on our porch, watch the stars,
And the moonlight brings back our pride.

(Chorus)
Oh, the years, they keep rollin’, like a river they flow,
With each bend in the journey, more seeds we did sow.
From the first kiss in summer to the last dance in fall,
In the whispers of yesterday, we’ve lived through it all.

(Verse 2)
Remember the nights under that old oak tree,
Just a couple of kids with our hearts on our sleeves,
We’d talk about places we’d travel someday,
And the dreams we would chase, never wanting to leave.
Now the seasons have changed, but the love’s still the same,
In the warmth of your smile, I find my way home,
Though the shadows grow longer, and the days feel so brief,
In the light of your laughter, I’m never alone.

(Chorus)
Oh, the years, they keep rollin’, like a river they flow,
With each bend in the journey, more seeds we did sow.
From the first kiss in summer to the last dance in fall,
In the whispers of yesterday, we’ve lived through it all.

(Bridge)
So here’s to the memories, the tears and the cheers,
To the lessons we learned through the laughter and fears,
As the clock keeps on tickin’, I’ll hold your hand tight,
For in every sunset, I see our love’s light.

(Chorus)
Oh, the years, they keep rollin’, like a river they flow,
With each bend in the journey, more seeds we did sow.
From the first kiss in summer to the last dance in fall,
In the whispers of yesterday, we’ve lived through it all.

(Outro)
So let’s sit here together, as the stars start to shine,
With a heart full of memories, love, and a little bit of time.
For growing old is a blessing, with you by my side,
In the whispers of yesterday, our dreams never die.
