Small Town, Big Love

Verse 1 (Man)
In this one-stoplight town where the gossip runs wild,
I first saw your smile at the corner of Chestnut and Pine.
Old Mr. Wilson’s gas station’s where I changed your flat tire,
Never knew that moment would set my heart on fire.

Verse 2 (Woman)
Daddy said be careful of that boy with the pickup truck,
But there was something in your eyes, knew I was struck.
The Dairy Queen where we shared our first vanilla cone,
Made me realize I’d never feel alone.

Chorus (Together)
In a town too small for secrets,
We found something too big to hide.
Our love’s like the old oak tree,
Growing stronger with each passing tide.
They might know our history,
But they don’t know how deep we feel inside.
Just a small town, with a big love,
And honey, I’m yours ’til the day I die.

Verse 3 (Man)
When the factory closed down, and times got real tough,
You stood by my side when the going got rough.
In your daddy’s old barn where we danced in the hay,
I knew right then, I’d love you come what may.

Verse 4 (Woman)
The church bells ring each Sunday as we sit side by side,
The whole town watching, but I just beam with pride.
These dusty streets hold the footprints of our past,
Building dreams together that are meant to last.

Bridge (Man)
They say folks leave this town…

Bridge (Woman)
To find something more…

Bridge (Together)
But everything I’m searching for
Is right here behind your door.

Chorus (Together)
In a town too small for secrets,
We found something too big to hide.
Our love’s like the old oak tree,
Growing stronger with each passing tide.
They might know our history,
But they don’t know how deep we feel inside.
Just a small town, with a big love,
And honey, I’m yours ’til the day I die.

Outro (Together)
This little dot on the map might not mean much to some,
But it’s where our hearts found home, where we became one.
Just a small town, with a big love,
And darlin’, I’m yours ’til the day I die.
