What I Am Most Thankful For

The golden autumn of twenty-twenty-five,
Has blessed our hearts and kept hope alive.
With plates piled high and hearthside cheer,
We gather close, our loved ones near.

For family and friends, both old and new,
For laughter shared and skies of blue—
For every hand I’m thankful for,
And blessings flowing through the door.

For grace that falls like gentle rain,
For strength in joy and ease in pain—
I lift my voice in grateful praise
For all the Lord provides these days.

But most of all, my heart takes flight
For Diane—my love, my guiding light.
Your smile, your warmth, your gentle grace
Fill every moment in this place.

So here’s to thanks, to love, to prayer—
To having all our loved ones there.
May gratitude forever stay
Beyond this Thanksgiving Day.
