Every day’s Battle

(Verse 1)

Woke up this morning, feeling kinda slow,

Used to run wild, now I’m movin’ like a shadow.

Clock’s tickin’ faster, but the pay’s still the same,

Bills stackin’ up like a runaway train.

(Pre-Chorus)

Every day’s a battle, just to keep on the track,

Life’s a heavy load, and it’s breakin’ my back.

(Chorus)

Rock and rollin’ through the years,

Fightin’ off the doubts and fears.

Workin’ hard, payin’ dues,

Taxman comin’, singin’ the blues.

(Verse 2)

Used to dream big, had the world in my hands,

Now I’m fightin’ just to hold on to the plans.

The boss keeps pushin’, never cuttin’ no slack,

But I won’t give in, I’m gonna fight back.

(Pre-Chorus)

Every day’s a struggle, but I’m holdin’ the line,

Ain’t givin’ up, I’m gonna make it mine.

(Chorus)

Rock and rollin’ through the years,

Fightin’ off the doubts and fears.

Workin’ hard, payin’ dues,

Taxman comin’, singin’ the blues.

(Bridge)

But I got the fire, burnin’ deep inside,

Ain’t gonna let this world take away my pride.

I’ll keep on rollin’, through the highs and lows,

With a rebel heart, that never grows old.

(Solo)

(Chorus)

Rock and rollin’ through the years,

Fightin’ off the doubts and fears.

Workin’ hard, payin’ dues,

Taxman comin’, singin’ the blues.

(Outro)

So here’s to the dreamers, who never let go,

Rock and rollin’, with a heart full of soul.

Keep on fightin’, keep on stayin’ strong,

In this crazy world, we’ll keep singin’ our song
