From G.I. Joe to Forever

In a quiet street where the sun would glow,
Two boys were born, a friendship to grow.
With G.I. Joe figures, they’d plot and pretend,
Adventures unending, two heroes, best friends.

In cardboard forts, they’d wage epic wars,
Imaginations soaring, opening doors.
With laughter and dreams, they’d conquer the skies,
Each day a new quest, with wide, hopeful eyes.

Then came the stars, as they ventured afar,
With phasers and starships, they’d reach for a star.
“To boldly go where no one’s gone before,”
In the world of Star Trek, they’d always explore.

Through galaxies vast, their bond only grew,
In uniforms bright, their dreamships flew true.
With secrets and dreams whispered late into night,
They learned about love, in the soft, silver light.

As years turned to seasons, they faced life’s demands,
From schoolyard to jobs, with their futures in hands.
Through laughter and trials, they stood side by side,
Navigating the world, with nothing to hide.

And when love found them, in each other’s embrace,
They held on to moments, in this cherished space.
From first hesitant dates to sweet, tender sighs,
Their hearts intertwined, with stars in their eyes.

In a garden of vows, with friends gathered near,
They promised forever, to cherish and cheer.
Two boys who once played with their soldiers and dreams,
Now partners in love, with a life full of themes.

So here’s to the journey, from childhood to now,
To the laughter, the love, and the sacred vow.
Through G.I. Joe battles to a life they create,
Two boys, now as one, in a world they celebrate.
