Backroads and Sunsets

Verse 1:
Woke up to the rooster crowing,
Sun peeking through the pines,
Coffee brewing on the stove,
Life here moves at its own time.
Dusty boots and an old truck,
Got my dog riding shotgun,
With the windows down, we’re rolling,
Chasing dreams under the sun.

Chorus:
Out here on these backroads,
Where the wildflowers grow,
Living life with a little soul,
And a heart that’s free to roam.
From the fields to the riverside,
Every moment feels just right,
In this simple country life,
Where the stars shine bright at night.

Verse 2:
Friday nights at the county fair,
Laughter echoes in the air,
Dancing ‘neath the neon lights,
With my friends, everything’s alright.
Barbecue smoke and a fiddle tune,
The moon rising like a silver balloon,
We’ll make memories till the morning light,
In this little slice of paradise.

Chorus:
Out here on these backroads,
Where the wildflowers grow,
Living life with a little soul,
And a heart that’s free to roam.
From the fields to the riverside,
Every moment feels just right,
In this simple country life,
Where the stars shine bright at night.

Bridge:
Sometimes the world feels heavy,
But here I find my peace,
With the wind whispering secrets,
And the worries start to cease.
So I’ll raise a glass to the good times,
To the love that never fades,
In this country heart of mine,
I’m forever gonna stay.

Chorus:
Out here on these backroads,
Where the wildflowers grow,
Living life with a little soul,
And a heart that’s free to roam.
From the fields to the riverside,
Every moment feels just right,
In this simple country life,
Where the stars shine bright at night.

Outro:
So here’s to the sunsets,
Painting skies in gold,
In this country life I cherish,
Where my heart can be so bold.
With every mile I wander,
And every song I sing,
I’ll keep living this sweet life,
In the joy that freedom brings.
