A Love So Great

(Verse 1)

Before the stars lit up the sky,

Before the earth began to cry,

You saw our need, You knew our pain,

And planned the cross to make a way.

Your love reached down, so deep, so wide,

To bring us home, to draw us to Your side.

(Chorus)

Oh, how You love us, Lord, so much You gave,

Your only Son to bear the weight,

Of all our sin, our guilt, our shame—

Through Jesus Christ, we’re not the same.

We stand forgiven, we are free,

Forever grateful on our knees.

(Verse 2)

Upon the hill, the price was paid,

Our Savior’s life, the gift You gave.

His blood poured out to cleanse our sin,

A broken world made whole again.

Your mercy flows, it never ends,

Through Jesus Christ, our closest friend.

(Chorus)

Oh, how You love us, Lord, so much You gave,

Your only Son to bear the weight,

Of all our sin, our guilt, our shame—

Through Jesus Christ, we’re not the same.

We stand forgiven, we are free,

Forever grateful on our knees.

(Bridge)

Hallelujah, the stone was rolled,

Victory won, the grave let go.

Your love endured, Your promise stayed,

Through Christ, the debt is fully paid.

(Chorus)

Oh, how You love us, Lord, so much You gave,

Your only Son to bear the weight,

Of all our sin, our guilt, our shame—

Through Jesus Christ, we’re not the same.

We stand forgiven, we are free,

Forever grateful on our knees.

(Outro)

Thank You, Father, for Your grace,

For the gift of love we can’t repay.

Forever Yours, our hearts will sing,

To Jesus Christ, our risen King.
