Hard-working man

(Verse 1)

I wake up before the sun, before the world’s awake,

Pouring coffee down my throat, another day to take,

Got bills to pay, mouths to feed, a family to keep,

But it’s hard to find the time for the ones I love to meet.

(Chorus)

I’m a hard-working man, with calloused hands,

80 hours a week, it’s all part of the plan,

Missing my wife’s hugs, her sweet kisses too,

But I’ll keep on grinding, for our dreams to come true.

(Verse 2)

The factory’s loud, the hours are long,

But I’ll keep pushing through, staying strong,

I see my wife’s face in every machine’s hum,

Her love’s my motivation, my beating drum.

(Chorus)

I’m a hard-working man, with calloused hands,

80 hours a week, it’s all part of the plan,

Missing my wife’s hugs, her sweet kisses too,

But I’ll keep on grinding, for our dreams to come true.

(Bridge)

Sometimes I wonder if it’s all worth the sacrifice,

But I know deep down, it’ll all be nice,

For every late night, every missed embrace,

I’ll make it up to her, put a smile on her face.

(Chorus)

I’m a hard-working man, with calloused hands,

80 hours a week, it’s all part of the plan,

Missing my wife’s hugs, her sweet kisses too,

But I’ll keep on grinding, for our dreams to come true.

(Outro)

So here’s to the hard-working men out there,

Juggling work and love with so much care,

I’ll keep on going, giving it my all,

For the day I can finally answer my wife’s call.
