Growing up in the wilderness

(Verse 1)
He was just a young boy, barely seventeen,
With a heart full of dreams and a love for the green.
Packed his old backpack, left the city lights behind,
Headed for the mountains, where the rivers wind.

(Chorus)
He’s growing up in the wilderness, finding who he’s meant to be,
Fishing by the river, camping ‘neath the tall pine trees.
With every step he takes, and every trail he roams,
He’s a young man growing up, and the woods are his home.

(Verse 2)
Mornings by the water, casting out his line,
Evenings by the campfire, feeling so sublime.
Learning from the echoes of the wolves and the owls,
Finding peace and solace in nature’s sacred bowels.

(Chorus)
He’s growing up in the wilderness, finding who he’s meant to be,
Fishing by the river, camping ‘neath the tall pine trees.
With every step he takes, and every trail he roams,
He’s a young man growing up, and the woods are his home.

(Bridge)
Sometimes he’d get lonely, but the stars would light his way,
The whispering of the forest, like an old friend who’d say,
“Keep on moving forward, you’re becoming who you are,
Every scar and story, every wish upon a star.”

(Verse 3)
Years went by in silence, as the seasons changed their song,
He grew into a man, where he always did belong.
With a heart full of wisdom, from the lessons that he learned,
The city called him back, but his soul forever yearned.

(Chorus)
He’s growing up in the wilderness, finding who he’s meant to be,
Fishing by the river, camping ‘neath the tall pine trees.
With every step he takes, and every trail he roams,
He’s a young man growing up, and the woods are his home.

(Outro)
Now he stands on the mountain, looking back at where he’s been,
A man who found his spirit, in the places few have seen.
With a tear in his eye, and a smile on his face,
He knows the wilderness will always be his sacred place.
